Lipolytic Injections for Fat Dissolving in Gurgaon
FDA/CE-approved deoxycholic acid protocol — permanently dissolves localised fat deposits with targeted precision and no surgery.
Some fat deposits resist even the most disciplined lifestyle — particularly in areas governed more by anatomy and genetics than by diet and exercise. Lipolytic injections at House of Aetheria offer a non-surgical, clinically precise answer: permanently destroying targeted fat cells in areas such as the double chin, inner arms and flanks, without anaesthesia, incisions or recovery time.
What Are Lipolytic Injections?
Lipolytic injections are a non-surgical treatment that delivers a fat-dissolving compound — a combination of deoxycholic acid and phosphatidylcholine — directly into a targeted subcutaneous fat deposit. Deoxycholic acid is a naturally occurring bile acid that disrupts the integrity of fat cell membranes, causing them to rupture and release their lipid contents. The released material is then cleared by the body's lymphatic system over several weeks.
Unlike weight loss, which shrinks fat cells, lipolysis with deoxycholic acid permanently destroys the targeted adipocytes. Once lysed, these fat cells do not regenerate. The result is a permanent reduction in the volume of the treated fat deposit, provided that body weight remains stable.
At House of Aetheria, a lymphatic drainage-assisted protocol is used following each session to support the efficient clearance of lysed fat from the treatment zone, reducing post-treatment swelling and supporting a cleaner, faster result. Sessions are spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart to allow full resolution of the previous treatment's inflammatory response before the next session is assessed and administered.

Deoxycholic Acid Protocol
FDA/CE-Approved Lipolytic Compound · Lymphatic Drainage-Assisted ProtocolThe lipolytic compound used at House of Aetheria is an FDA and CE-approved formulation containing deoxycholic acid and phosphatidylcholine. Deoxycholic acid is a synthetic form of a bile acid naturally produced by the body to aid in the emulsification and absorption of dietary fat. At therapeutic concentrations in a targeted injection, it acts as a cytolytic agent — disrupting fat cell membranes with high selectivity for adipocytes over surrounding connective tissue and vessels.
Phosphatidylcholine works synergistically with deoxycholic acid to emulsify the released lipid content, facilitating its uptake by the lymphatic system and subsequent metabolic clearance. Following each session, Dr. Bedi's protocol incorporates lymphatic drainage techniques to accelerate this clearance phase, reduce the duration of post-treatment swelling and support a more even, predictable result across the treatment zone.
Injections are placed in a precise grid pattern across the targeted fat deposit — typically 1 cm apart — to ensure uniform distribution of the lipolytic compound and even fat reduction across the entire treatment area. The depth and volume per injection point are calibrated to the thickness and characteristics of the fat deposit being treated.
Before, During and After Your Treatment
Preparation
- Avoid blood-thinning medications, aspirin, ibuprofen and fish oil supplements for 48 hours before treatment.
- Avoid alcohol for 24 hours before your appointment.
- Arrive well hydrated — good hydration supports lymphatic clearance of the treatment byproducts.
- Do not apply any lotions, oils or creams to the treatment area on the day of your appointment.
- Inform your specialist of any active skin infections, allergies or recent treatments in the area.
During the procedure
Topical numbing cream is applied to the treatment area 20 to 30 minutes before the procedure. The lipolytic compound is then injected in a grid pattern using fine needles across the targeted fat deposit. A mild stinging sensation during injection is common and expected. The procedure typically takes 20 to 40 minutes depending on the area being treated. A post-injection lymphatic drainage massage is performed to initiate clearance of the treated tissue.
After treatment
- Mild swelling, firmness and redness at the injection sites are expected and normal for 3 to 5 days post-treatment.
- Tenderness and a feeling of tightness in the treated area may persist for up to 2 weeks — this indicates the inflammatory response is working.
- Avoid vigorous exercise for 48 hours post-session.
- Stay well hydrated to support lymphatic clearance of the released lipid material.
- Visible results typically become apparent from the second session onward as swelling fully resolves.
