Face, upper lip and chin
Facial hair is one of the most common reasons women book laser. On the upper lip, chin and jawline the hair is often fine, and in some women it is driven by hormones, such as PCOS, so it can return more than hair elsewhere on the body. Sessions on the face are short, and your dermatologist sets the Triton gently for this area.

Bikini and underarms
These areas are sensitive, and on Indian skin they are often darker, so the laser setting matters. The Triton's 1064nm wavelength is gentler on darker skin, and built-in contact cooling keeps the skin comfortable. For the bikini area we keep full privacy, explain every step beforehand, and your dermatologist does a patch test first. Most people describe a warm snap rather than pain.

Laser hair removal for men
Men usually come for the chest, back, shoulders, stomach, arms and neck. Coarse, dense hair takes laser well, but large areas need more time, so your doctor phases the plan area by area. On the neck and beard line, laser can also reduce razor bumps and ingrown hairs caused by shaving.

A full-body plan is simplest when it is phased. Your dermatologist treats areas in a planned order, with sessions about 4 to 6 weeks apart, so each visit stays comfortable and the course is easy to follow. The large Triton handpiece covers both legs in around 20 to 30 minutes. Because hair grows in cycles, every area needs a course, and your doctor will give you a realistic range after the skin check.

What to expect
Skin check
Your dermatologist looks at your skin tone, hair type and areas, and does a patch test at the same visit.
Prepare
The area is cleaned and shaved if needed. Your eyes are protected and a cooling gel or contact cooling is used.
Laser
Steady passes across the area. It feels like a warm snap, and most sessions are short.
Follow up
Soothing care and sun advice before you leave. Sessions repeat every 4 to 6 weeks, and top-ups are planned as needed.
Before and after, in short
- Shave the area the day before. Do not wax, thread or pluck for 4 weeks before.
- Avoid sun, tanning and tanning products for 2 weeks before and after.
- Skip hot showers, saunas and heavy workouts for 24 hours after a session.
- Use a gentle moisturiser and sunscreen on treated areas, and do not pick at any small bumps.
