- Compare the same angle before and after: front, side and underneath
- Check the timing. A nose still swollen at a few weeks looks different from the same nose at a year
- Look at how natural the nose looks with the whole face, not only the nose
- Remember that lighting, expression and camera angle can change how a nose looks
- Ask whether the patient had a similar nose, skin and goals to yours
